The Vancouver Aboriginal Transformative Justice Service Society (VATJSS) is a non-profit agency that provides justice, homelessness and crime prevention services to Indigenous people within the Metro-Vancouver area.
The Justice Program provides community members who have come into conflict with the law and victims with a culturally appropriate alternative to the mainstream criminal justice system. The services are a non-adversarial, non-retributive approach to justice that emphasizes healing, meaningful accountability and the involvement of community in creating a healthier and safer community.
